Sony announced the card-style TX55 touch screen camera. The 16 2MP camera one functions back illuminated CMOS sensor and stabilized 5 x zoom lens (which is calculated to provide a range of about 26-130 mm equivalent). The TX55 has a 16.2 megapixels, a highly sensitive ™ Exmor R CMOS sensor that provides amazing image detail and noise of the very low image in the images fixed and video Full HD - even in low lighting conditions.  Also, high speed auto focus camera may lock on the subject in less than 0.1 second, allowing users to enter the more ephemeral moments of the photo with ease.

Slim just 12.2 mm (measurement excludes the lens cover), which is smaller than the thickness of a standard AA-size, the Cyber-shot TX55 battery is the world thinnest camera in its class (among the cameras with optical anti-shake function).  The new model capture Full HD AVCHD video clips and still images through its innovative and exceptionally thin optical 16.2 megapixel 5 x folded telephoto.

It introduces brand new "clear Image Zoom" which stimulates the magnification without lowering the number of pixels in the final image. Exclusive to Sony, "By Pixel Super resolution" processing further extends 5 x zoom camera optical range, allowing full resolution images 16.2 megapixels with zoom 10 x maximum.

By Pixel Super resolution' technology also significantly increases still image quality during video recording. On a touch of the shutter button, "Double rec" grabs packaged retail 12 megapixel-level still photos without interrupting the video shooting Full HD.
